20 Mar Jersey Born Racing Ace Struan Moore Testing For Top Chinese Outfit KCMG.

Jersey born racing ace Struan Moore has returned from his first prolonged stay in Asia while testing for top Chinese outfit KCMG. Struan will compete in the highly acclaimed Formula 3 series this year in Japan and following two successful tests in Fuji and Suzuka, had this to say on his return to the UK before jetting off for a final test in preparation for the season opener next month.

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my first major stint in Japan and feel I’m really starting to get a feel for the car and the country. Pre-season testing at Fuji was all about acclimatisation; after driving in BRDC F4 last year it took a few laps to shakedown the new car and feel comfortable, but I soon tied together some quick laps which I continued into the second test”.

Moore added, “KCMG have been fantastic, really making me feel at home and it was a privilege to drive both Fuji and Suzuka; two tracks I grew up watching my racing heroes tackle. I’m here in the UK for a week before flying back for a final test at Fuji ahead of the first race. The team and I are feeling positive about the year ahead as my training and preparation ramps up for Round 1 where we’ll be supporting the Super Formula series in front of packed grandstands at Suzuka”.
